In Memoriam
This August sunset
is memorable
late afternoon
mountain silhouettes
calmly lying on each other
I take a few photos
and 2 videos
while I'm en route to the town
that reminds me of death
Gramma, you did great
I hear you even tried
to rehearse your own death
closed your eyes, gently crossed
your hands on your chest
waited for 30 minutes
then for another 30
you didn't die on that weekday
you're funny, Gramma
have always been
you carry a piece
of my childhood
into the unknown now
I trust you, Gramma
there is no mystery and fear now
you know how to be dead
after 84 years
there are 2 aged men
sitting beside your grave pit
contemplating the meaning of life
one of them says
there was a poet who
once said
that no matter who you are
regardless of your vocation
you first need to be and remain a human being
while (true) {
//I'm suffocating in this loop
}
you're funny, Gramma
heaven is a funny place now
